In between the Modern Worship service that ends at 10am and the Traditional Worship service beginning at 11am is our Faith + Fellowship Hour. Groups meet to discuss current events, have Bible studies, and even go a step further to marry the words of the Bible to current happenings to better understand the world we live in. In-person and online options available.

West Market Street United Methodist Church has a very active small group network. The Covid pandemic has forced us all to find new ways to connect and, with our Weekday Small Groups, you can find a variety of ways to get involved.

As a church, we strive to offer as many intergenerational ministry opportunities as possible, and our Older Adults are active at all levels of ministry within the congregation and community. Our Encore Team’s (formerly the Older Adult Team’s) mission is “to be in ministry with older adults by providing opportunities for worship, learning, fellowship, faith-sharing, and service that help older adults relate to God, continue to grow in their faith, and be actively involved in the life of the church.”
