Food insecurity both locally and globally is a major challenge. You can help by donating or walking in this year's CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:30pm. You may register to walk or to donate to individuals or the West Market Street UMC team.

Greensboro will be the site of resettlement in the next several weeks for individuals and families leaving Afghanistan. If you would like to be part of a team who will help with this resettlement, volunteer here.

Volunteers are needed to help serve breakfast to the homeless residents of Greensboro Urban Ministry. WMSUMC volunteers join volunteers from Believers Missionary Baptist Church to serve breakfast on the 4th Saturday of each month from 6-8 a.m.

Each month volunteers in our church send a birthday card to those in our congregation who are 60 years old or older. You can supply your own cards and stamps, or the church can help with these supplies, for the approximately 6 people you are asked to send cards to each month.

Volunteers are needed to deliver Mobile Meals on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The hot meals are delivered to shut-ins in Guilford County, and are often the only meal they receive for that day. Deliveries take about 2 hours to complete.
