Jennifer E. Salmon

A West Market Street UMC member since 2000, Jennifer is a Greensboro native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Information Technology. Post-graduation, she worked in the tobacco industry for over 20 years in various IT positions, during which time she also joined the Greensboro Jaycees, a civic engagement and professional development group for individuals between the ages 18 and 40. There she was elected chapter president is 2009 and North Carolina state president in 2012 where she had a wide variety of management, budgeting, and administrative responsibilities. Jennifer is a passionate member of her community, demonstrated by her volunteer work with United Way, her neighborhood HOA, and the Guilford County Board of Elections. When’s she not working or volunteering, Jennifer is traveling, both internationally and domestically, or dog sitting for her pet sitting business, Paws & Claws.
