SMALL GROUPS - WEEKDAYS

West Market Church has a very active small group network. Contact Pastor Jeremy to learn more about the variety of groups with which to get involved.

 

GROUP BIBLE STUDIES

Short-term Bible studies are offered on an ongoing basis and usually run 6-8 weeks. These studies offer great resources that help participants apply scripture to their life and make for stimulating conversation and fellowship. These are groups are open to all and hosted on a regular basis. Watch for upcoming studies through our E-News or social media. There may be a cost for materials.

W.I.G.S.: WHAT IS GOD SAYING?

reads best-selling secular novels and delves into the message that God may have within the pages. Members engage in discussion and fellowship with other Christian readers for a fun and meaningful literary/spiritual experience.

SISTERS IN THE SPIRIT

an informal small group for women that reads and discusses books based on faith topics.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

smaller in size and currently there are two groups. The morning group is a book discussion and the evening is Bible study/covenant model.

PRAYER SHAWL KNITTERS

for those who want to learn gather monthly to knit and pray together as they make prayer shawls to be given to persons to express love and support from our church in a time of illness, grief, or other life difficulty.

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN

a vital ministry at WMC with monthly circles and small groups for all ages with day and evening options. UMW supports mission programs for women and children locally, in the U.S., and around the world. Close friendships and support are a benefit of participation in UMW.

LAITY IN PRAYER

meets Sundays at 8:00am to pray for the community of faith as it prepares to gather for worship, learning, and serving.

PARTNERS IN PRAYER

an intercessory prayer group that prays for specific concerns of members of the community of faith.
